Comments for Last Year's 5R Masterclass

Timiebi Ebitibituwa

Omozo Ogunronbi's session was power-packed. I liked that the session was practical and not filled with too many hair jargons. Having the replay was also great as I was able to watch it in the comfort of my home and be able to take notes too.
I must commend the African Naturalistas team for the whole package, the hair plans, regimens and much more!

Ifemide Balogun

I really enjoyed the 5R Masterclass in 2020. Lots of gems were unpacked, from learning about our properties of your hair down to styling our hair. It was an eye opening masterclass for me. I would definitely attend future Hair Conferences from African Naturalistas

Aisha Ayoola

In 2020 5R Masterclass, I was privileged to learn and understand the cause and effect of my old hair regimens which lead to my palaver and was introduced to a new regimes that changed my hair journey. The class was amazing, the tracking and follow-ups were on point, as in, you have to fall into line. My edges have greatly improved and still growing.

Valerie Akhabue

I enjoyed every minute of the The 5R Masterclass sessions in 2020. The session by Atilola on Restoring Edges, helped me understand safer practices on how to handle my Edges. Omozo Ogunronbi's teaching on Safe hair styling for length retention was an eye opener about actually practicing protective styling. I enjoyed the session by Kemi Lewis on Ayurveda. The class delved into the myths that I had about the use of Ayurvedic herbs.

Ade has grown a business that promotes societal acceptance of locs, self-confidence, networking and collaboration. Through social media, an opportunity to speak at TedxYaba 2017, several local and international interviews such as the BBC & The Guardian UK, the Talking Locs with Locitude podcast and the Locitude hair-studio in Lagos Nigeria & Maryland USA, Ade and her team are able to offer support and related services for the loc’d community.
