With my hair it is difficult to isolate knots. Unless I read the instructions wrong but I wanted something that I can put on my whole hair as a detangler. But the leave-in conditioner works just fine. I have a detangling brush which works well with it. It’s not that I don’t like the product I just think it is suited to my hair.

Though the instructions on the bottle talks about targeted detangling of knots, You can also put it on your hair as a whole, either by mixing it with water in a spray bottle, and spraying it al over your hair, which is the way salons use our detangling conditioner. You can also apply it directly if you don’t mind using a lot of products.
